A few years ago a group of industry types and academics got together to discuss why there weren’t more women on boards, Elizabeth Watson, a lawyer and founder of Watson Advisors Inc. in Vancouver, said in an interview. “And you know what the men said?” Watson asked. “They said, ‘Who are they?
