Feminine Super Powers ON! Achievement Junkie OFF!

That was the result of the POW WOW event last week, when Christine Arylo and Saara Robles, led a group of women through some eye-opening experiences that helped us put our Achievement Junkie and Doing Addicts into recovery so that we could activate some pretty awesome feminine super powers we didn’t even know we had. Highlights from the evening included:

- Getting Our Mean Girl On Our Side: You know that chatter in your head always telling you what you haven’t done or accomplished? We had a face to face with ours, befriended her and started the process of taking her from an enemy to an ally.
- A Diet Like No Other: We all committed to taking a Comparison Diet together. No comparing ourselves to other people, including our past or future selves. We feel lighter already!
- Testing Our Feminine Super Powers: We tried out super powers like Receiving, where we learned that we can actually do more by doing less. By creating space in our life, minds and bodies — by taking mini-pauses and by leaning in to other people (aka we don’t have to do it all ourselves) — we can accomplish more, and be happier doing it.

One of the best parts of the evening was that we left knowing that we weren’t the only Achievement Junkies on the planet. That we weren’t the only women to have these destructive voices in our heads, and energizer bunny habits running our lives. It helped knowing that we weren’t alone… and it was fantastic to get past just the “networking” to create more personal connections with some amazing women.
