Pow.wow is the brainchild of Dava Guthmiller. In 2004, Dava invited 14 women to her office to exchange ideas and discuss the challenges of running a small business. Pow.wow is now over 400 strong and growing. It continues to be a place where women can come to share ideas, get feedback and develop productive relationships.

Can you believe it’s already 2009? For business in 2009 I believe we all need to help and support each other in this new year more than ever. So, to start the Pow.wow year, we will be meeting for a glass of wine and discussion on how we are all promoting, looking for work, making changes or cutting back in order to sustain through the down times. Please bring your current time/money saving ideas and your questions so we can have a very through discussion on best practices.
